I studied writing at UCLA after high school and then, after a break for traveling, transferred as an art major to Santa Cruz, where I lived for 13 years. For the past 22 years, I've lived in Tucson AZ, where I teach art and social studies. I ran my own monthly newspaper for 7 years and have written/illustrated four books. My wife Nan is a hospital social worker and the greatest hero I know. The most complete joys of my life are my daughter, 13 years old, and my son, 11. I will bring pictures.
