I am delighted to finally attend a Reunion for the Class of 1975 from Homestead High School. This is my first time, not sure what to expect but, certainly looking forward to a great evening, mingling with my classmates and wishing all a Good Time!

One of my memorable Memories at Homestead High School was when Coach Roach would ask me to step of the classroom during our Driver's Education class. He would ask me to leave because I was the Class Clown and I would disturb the class with jokes!

My favorite food at Homestead was the Hot Bread for 10cents.

I always enjoyed working on the yearbook every year obtaining ads from the local businesses. I also have fond memories of my family and I hosting the Foreign Exchange Students (the Youth for Understanding Program) from Greece.

After graduating Homestead High School, I worked at Hewlett Packard in Cupertino where my Father and Brother worked and simultaneously started college at both DeAnza and Foothill.

I went on to San Francisco State. Then started a career with Philippine Airlines working in Cargo first and then moving in to Passenger Customer Service for the first 4.5 years and then finally researching my goal to become a Outside Passenger Sales Manager handling a very large sales territory both in the United States and Canada for the next 25 years. With nearly 30 years working with Philippine Airlines, I took a wonderful buyout with lifetime travel and then went on to start my own business.

My small business is in the Specialty Food Industry, named Elly Olive Oil. Elly Olive Oil is individual servings of Balsamic Vinaigrettes designed for Room Service in Hotels, Cruise Lines, great for entertaining at home, for traveling, outdoor barbecues and picnics and a great gift item.

I manufacture, bottle and package my own product here in Menlo Park. I have the pleasure of selling my product for the Retail Market in Specialty Grocery Stores and Wineries in the Bay Area. Through my business I have connected with people who have gone to Homestead High and also renewed friendships from High School! Its a Small World afterall!

I truly enjoy this new venture of mine because I have always enjoyed entertaining over the years and bringing joy to people's homes.

On a personal note, I have enjoyed my family all through the years and I am very grateful for having such wonderful Parents and for growing up in Los Altos.

Both my Mom and Dad have passed but I hold the beautiful memories and fun times with my family including both my older sister and brother in my heart along with enjoying my entire High School days at Homestead. With much gratitude and thanks, I am happy to have grown up during our times with a well rounded and solid upbringing from both my parents attributing to whom I am today.

See you all soon! With Warm Regards, Margo
